Check your scales. That Small Date look like a zincoin. I can see some zinc dust on the fields. Also the coin in the envelope has the mm in a different location than the one in your hand.

Compare the 'WE' on the motto. That device is totally different sized on the large or small cents:  See the differences in size?

Ok with a more accurate scale you guys were right , I have a small date zinc.. and the only 1982 small date copper cent I had in my jar was a no mint mark..or so I think lol ...help on this one? So as far as small dates I have 2 zincolns and Philly so far I'm not giving up  The one that got me so excited is still such a beautiful coin ..
