This is another die where the mint mark position is unique for the year. It's lower and further to the east than most of not all of them. This coin is a little on the dark side but a lot of them are in this era. Anyway thanks for looking.

Thanks frog. I know I'm general it's not an odd spot but for that run it is. I was going to screenshot one from CoinFacts and realized the plate coin is an unattributed FS-501. MS67RD. https://www.PCGS.com/coinfacts/coin/detail/2611

Great find, but the sloppy sharpie on the slab is killing my OCD. Slap a sticker or a strip of masking tape on there and write it on neatly lol

this one hugs the "9". I think that Williburton is saying only the non-RPM are in what we consider a normal position.

But the OP's coin is a RPM. Note the North on it. Just not listed on the slab. He noticed it and got a better deal.
