I have a question for everyone that is willing to answer.

When you buy each year's proof set, do you just buy the silver one or both?

If you buy the silver set and the clad quarters, then you are only missing the dime and half clad proofs.

If you buy both, then you are set... then have an extra set of the dollars.

What do you guys do?

I just buy the silver proof set, I guess it would depend on personal preference.

I buy a clad proof and an uncirculated set each year so that I have coins from all three mints for each year.

I may go overboard, but I buy 2 Mint Uncirculated sets, 2 Proof sets, and 2 Silver Proof sets....Not to mention I also buy a Prestige\Legacy set as well.

I cover all bases too.....
2 - Silver Proof Sets (subscription program)
1 - Qtr. Silver Proof Set
1 - Year Proof Set
1 - Qtr. Proof Set
1 - Uncirculated Mint Set
1 - American Legacy Set
(and this is spread throughout the year in two or three buys, so that it isn't a costly bulk purchase)

I have to say though.....after this year.....I may not do all of that for the "Parks Qtrs.". A Silver Proof and a Regular Proof and an Uncirc. Set may be all I do. Plus the American Legacy Set of course.
The new series thing is just getting too crazy....kinda making me want to shift more focus onto more Classic coins. I've always pursued both....but that may change to a 70-30 ratio !.....
