This die clash is not as prominent as other years posted .
Echidna nose is easily seen (circled ) but the gaps between claws are weaker strike (circled).
Also on the reverse you can see the line caused by the Queens forehead/nose and the chin area (circled)

Cool find, crab eater.

I really wish you were keeping a count of how many 5 cent coins you have noodled. It's really not that hard and then you would have statistical evidence of how rare some of your finds really are.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the replies, always good to hear what people think and the knowledge they have.
As an estimate , in the last 6 months I would have noodled 250,000 5 cent pieces.
I have around $7,000 of noodled 5 cent coins still to return to the coin machine.
This will take more time to return them than taking them out I feel.
As funny as it may sound ,i only have one 'die clash' of each of the years I have posted except the 2 ihave noodled of the 2016 'Alien' changeover coins.
Go Figure?
Does this make the 'Alien ' coin worth less ? I do not think so. It is a much sought after error coin.
Is the 'Alien' coin rarer than the other die clash coins I have posted?
Guess time will tell.
If no one else posts up these error coins I might be the only one who has them?
