I've found many interesting things on this quarter. firstly, theres what I'm assuming is a die break on Mr. George's neck. next, the I and half the T are missing in "In god We Trust" is this possibly post mint damage? after this, ive found many scrapes. some under the nose and some right next to "in god we trust" all seem to be going the same directon. either way, this is very interesting. just asking for some thoughts. thanks in advance! there's also an interesting mark on the right side rim. it ALMOST looks like an imprint of a letter, but of all things this looks the most like damage after the fact. ive also included an image of what I think is MD but would like more opinions.

@dcj, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes I'm seeing a bunch of stray circulation marks, such as on IGWT. Those parallel lines in front of George's upper lip might be die polishing marks.

thanks for the welcome guys! I am wondering if this is from circulation or manufacturing though. it seems the scratches go in the same direction as the scratches in the field. maybe the IGWT was overpolished aswell?

Feeder Finger Damage on the die. Thus those areas are affected.

These will vary, depending on how much damage happened to the feeder fingers damage to the die. Just a die event, that will be polished out when it it noticed. (die rescue to continue to use these dies)
