This one looks wrong, fake?. Everything is mushy. Could be the photos but I'll wait for you to post decent photos when it arrives.

i think thats typical for this year. where is our expert fortcollins. I miss his assessments and have learned so much from his expertise.

way too much light glare to see the surfaces properly but look at that split tail! this coin may be MS. if you buy it post in hand photos so we can get a better look at it. the obverse is definitely die related from LDS to polishing. just look at those rachis. they are almost non-existent

Looks mint state and frosty with good surfaces. I'll say MS-64.

Altered surfaces/haershly cleaned if not fake. A full horn 14-D should cost much more.
Rest in Peace

It looks fake to me as well. Many features do not match those of authentic examples.
Rest in Peace

This came in and it looks pretty good for 33 smackers. Shot a video to show its surfaces better. I tried some funky background music that will likely not be that popular but I like it.

To be fair, I didn't expect it to look like it did when it arrived based on the seller's photos.

I can't get a good feel for this one. Are these seller pics or yours NS?

Surfaces definitely look messed with, not original, I'll say that with confidence. 14-S is typically slightly soft to average in strike, but better than a good number of San Fran struck buffs. This one looks on par with average.

Is that a die crack running E-W through the braid into the jaw? Also E-W from the buffalos head, through the leg, into the belly? Can we get a closeup shot of the MM?

More questions than answers.

Can you shoot some photos out of the 2x2? It's probably genuine but the surfaces look altered.

rather than a vid which is too small to see the coin post in-hand photos. the coin looks way better in the vid but just to small and rotating the coin doesn't help.

better photos but still a tough coin to assess

I'm going with AU55 or MS62 and worth the cost to find out imo. whatever it comes back as its worth considerably more than $33
