Are these your pictures? Surfaces just do not look right. Rubbing or burnishing under the buffalo and under the feathers on the obv. I don't think nickel should be so bright.

These are the seller's pics. Same seller as the 1914-S.

Can't tell if they are overexposed or if it is a polished coin. I would not go $440 but that is me.

I'm going to wait for this one to arrive. It has the same fake look as the 14-S.

definitely the seller. these photos are not good. post in-hand photos not vid for proper assessment. I think the glare is hiding quite a bit here. there are some pretty good hits on the shoulder, hair, brow and cheekbone. will wait for photos

This looks like a professionally treated coin. There was a seller on ebay that does this and if he didn't tell you he did it, some of them you'd think were original.

A good example for how clash can mimic a double profile (Our own Fortcollins did a great explanation on this awhile back.)
See if you can see the ghostly remains of E PLURIBUS UNUM under the chin from clash.

Well I'll attempt to get some more specs on this one since there was no reply to the 14-S in question.

What's the weight on this one? This one does not look original to me either. I'd side with Jerrypicker on the acid treated if it comes in under weight. Similar issues as you're 14-S. The recessed area surrounding the Buffalo are a concern, as they were on the other. Also, the mushiness of the MD is a red flag. It should appear more shelf like with a more defined edge. Yours appears more rounded/blended into the devices which could mean acid treatment that removed. Lack of metal flow lines is also a concern. Be real curious to know the weight.

Looks too grainy IMO. Looks like a copy and hope I'm wrong. Good luck if sending to TPG.
