I have also purchased from the seller you linked - you can't miss him on the bay if you are looking at Buffalo nickels. I am very familiar with his pickling and consequent results. These coins look nothing like this seller's products.
@Ty2020b - The coins are currently in my safe deposit box and I will pull these out to weigh and maybe re-image in the next few weeks. Markets have been a little hectic and things have been busy at work. I've also been buying lots of things as inflation have brought asset prices down considerably. Many things that have not been for sale for a long time have been coming to market.
@JTCC - from what I remember from the examination I did when I received the coins, the surfaces looked great and didn't get the sense that the coin was acid treated. Will take another look when I get them back in hand.
@bandsdean - Hey bd, it's been a little while. How have you been? I don't have these coins for sale on FB or anywhere. I don't sell anything on FB. No plans to send to TPG. It is a little weird how nice I remember that the coins looked in hand and how they look in the images. Also remember that the images didn't look as good as the coin in hand - that likely speaks to my lack of imaging skills. I can see why you would be concerned but I don't really have any concerns.
