1974 D dime missing "usu" in "E pluribus unum" could this be a clogged die? possibly rare? or just a messed up 10c dime? I've included a few angles and a shot of the obverse to show what piece it is.

Looks like a partially Grease Filled Die. Not rare by any means.

Yes looks like struck through a little grease. It is a fun find even though only worth face value. You could save it until a better example comes your way to spend it if you prefer.

Good eye to spot something like that. Good to save as an example of a minor grease-filled die.
