This wasn't a cherrypick but attributed at a good deal at $17 at my LCS. Tough to tell in my photos but luster is awesome and there's some very nice toning on the reverse.

Don't see these in MS all that often given how common of an RPM this really is. On top of that, this is a rare unlisted die state in between stage G and stage H. Stage H exhibits the full BIE die break in LIBERTY, while stage G shows no sign of the die break beginning to occur. On my example, you can see that die break beginning to form with a die crack across the top of the letters. I'm guessing the break developed greater soon after. As far as I know, this may be the first reported example of this variety with the underdeveloped BIE.

It's worth mentioning that the examples with a full BIE go for a significant premium over an example without. Stage H is very desirable.

It does look like a BIE die chip was just getting formed when this coin was struck, but that RPM really steals the show. Very nice addition to your collection.
