Yep, looks like someone removed the bridge of his nose. You see that on the Chinese fakes on the CanadianVickies as well

Why fake a 1913, one of the most common NF cents? An 1888 would make more sense to me.

Rob, someone asked for them. A dealer in NFLD ordered a bunch 15 yrs ago or so......all Geo 5th dates. Royal NFLD Constabulary paid him a visit. He claimed "novelty" but was selling them as real, he sells no more........does this fake make any sense..........

As Mike says, you can order any coin any date, as many as you want. It can be for birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, etc of the same date or 100 years from the date. I don't think that it makes any difference as to the suspected resale of rare dates for some of the vendors/creators. It's just a way to celebrate or annotate a date.
