Found a Jefferson nickel with this on the reverse, was curious to what you all think it is? My best guess is PMD or die chip.

Can you tell us where? I see PMD not a chip if it is where I think you see something.

Bag mark on the roof area. Just damage to the coin. (incuse hit)

A die chip would be raised on the coin. This mark is incuse. Almost all incuse marks are damage.

If you are talking about the top of the gable then it it damaged, probably hit from another coin.

I see bag marks, but my question here it is why the EPU letters are so tinny? Me I do not see normal. What it is the Observe? Can you show?

If the die was polished and some field area removed, then the devices get shorter in height/width.
