The first picture is a PCGS ms-68 Lincoln Cent. I am trying to reach a 67. The coin is not red-brown but its more olive golden with lots of luster. Coin scope makes it look this way. Maybe I will try to get a picture of it. From 66+ to 68 not much difference probably depends on who is grading it and what time of day. Anyway maybe? or not a chance at 67?

Very nice example, at least 66RD, shot at 67 IMO if the luster and eye appeal are there.

Hey Thad , luster and eye appeal are there. Most my higher grades hade this particular hue. Olive to wispy red toning. Beautiful coin, fortunately for me that was my second one . PCGS got the first one last week and it was way better. I sent 8 modern value Sept 8 economy level and PCGS says today they are in encapsulation. I have high hope four of the 8 to get a 67 or higher. Hoping two more or 6 all together can get to 67.

are all these photos of the same coin? the first photo shows more defined steps, and some minor ticks on the bottom of the shoulder. the blowups show more obv rim ticks and no marks on the shoulder and the steps are hardly defined at all.

I'm going to go with the blow-ups

obv strong strike. minor marks on shoulder and rims
rev steps almost non existent

MS66RD
