I know, I know, "took me long enough!". I've been a little busy, so this contest is a little late! Almost to 600 posts now! Well, I'm going to borrow (steal?) an idea from fellow CCF member Nod2003 and his Spot price of Silver contest. Since I am Coppernickeldaddy, what you need to do is tell me the spot price of copper AND nickel per pound at the close of New York business on Monday March 2nd according to the front page of kitcometals.com. I'll take guesses up to this Thursday at 6PM. One guess per member, please, and only members with 50 posts are eligible. I will take the combined total of your guesses for the two metals and add them up. The closest to the actual close price of the two metals added together will win the following: 3rd PLACE: A 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent with Wide AM2nd PLACE: A 1998 Lincoln Memorial cent with Wide AM1st PLACE: One of each of the above I don't have photos with me at the moment; suffice to say that they grade about AU/UNC. I will post the photos in a day or so. Good Luck To All! UPDATE: Page 3 lists the three winners of this contest! Thanks to all for participating. Edited by copper nickel daddy 03/02/2009 8:26 pm

Thanks for the contest.
Copper $1.3529
Nickel $4.2655
This is what I think the two metals are going to trend down to over the next week.

Tim Stroud, I am going to round your total guess up to $5.62. I didn't mention it in the instructions, but everyone should round their guesses up to the nearest cent. Makes things a little easier! Later today I will make a list of the guesses up to that point so nobody will use the same guess twice.
