New to this so I have no idea what to even ask other than: Is this some sort of minting error / die cast error? It weighs 2.6g. Any input is appreciated.

It looks like a Dryer Coin or it may have been Spooned.

The edge has been flattened inwards, making them taller than normal. If you can measure the diameter of the coin I think you'll find that it's slightly under the normal 19.1 mm.

I agree with a Dryer Coin.

I'm on board with spooning.

I'm on the fence with this one - either spooning (although the edge is far too smooth) or a Dryer Coin (but the coin is not beat up enough) Possibly a 3rd option? placed between to larger rollers and rotated and squeezed?
