Just trying to learn...I have read that this year has had alot of examples of MD or DDD. Just making sure that is what is going on here. Thanks for the help.

Well, the steplike doubling that serves to reduce the width of the letters is Machine Doubling. I'm also seeing circulation damage and likely coin Rolling Machine Damage.
