I believe w good faith I've identified this as Wexlers 1960 DDO-008. Can someone confirm the mouth, chin and neck as a doubled die? Thank you again.

Appears to be MD. Wexler's WDDO-008 is a proof coin, yours appears to be business strike

@Lawest considering this is a Denver minted coin, I highly doubt wexler has DDO-008 listed as a proof...

008 is not a proof. I wonder when he included this as a DD. I always thought it was channeling.

Let's keep in mind that Wexler's site lists DDO-008 as a Small Date. The author's coin appears to be a large date. It's a shame that Doubleddie. com does not also show the mint mark position for this supposed variety. I too am of the opinion that the site's listing appears to be more a form of a specific type of Strike Doubling than that of a doubled die.

It is hard to say if is 008. Some differences I see and no the markers from Wexler I will include here your photos worked a little bit. I do 'it to see for markers. I see something with the MM, is doubling? no Idea, they are 164 for this year.
PS: If you click on my photos you can see well magnify.

Hello Silvio's, long time no talk, hope you are well.

According to Wexler's attribution, as I mentioned directly above your comment, this cannot be DDO-008 due to Wexler's example clearly stating his doubled die is a Small Date. The author's coin is a Large Date.

Hi Bumpkin, I am well, busy but I drive.

I do not say it is 008, and thanks to mention me this about date. I was just thinking of the photos and the differences of the bust design the I work the photos to see clear all the coin and get to see the RPM's for this year and then I just give-up, never pass all the 164 posted on VV. Sorry my mistake not to read attentive.

But it is interesting coin and very similar with WDDO-008

Great job on the photos. Small date and large date are very similar on this date. My eyes are tricking me. Could it be a small date over large date?
