to the CCF This is damage from another coins reeded edge. You will see these a lot on coins.

it looks like it took a hit from the right side of that, notice the trench right in front of it - the raised up area could be metal that was moved when it was hit.

Mintmark is showing DDD. No RPMs after 1989 on this series. Just DDD towards the rim direction.
