Small base of Seated dime collector demand determines the value.

You just have to keep things in perspective.

Why are 1909-S VDB Lincoln cents with a mintage of almost half a million so expensive? Same reason but on the opposite end —— a large base of Lincoln Cent collectors keeps prices up and SVDB cents are always in demand.

Proof Two Cent Pieces are even cheaper with even lower mintages. It is all about demand. Not many people are trying to assemble full collections of Seated dimes or proof Two Cent Pieces.
