1971 D Washington Quarter Doubled Die Reverse / DDR

Msaintiger Valued Member United States 113 Posts	Posted 10/20/2022 04:26 am from what I understand the 1971 DDR has doubling in "united states of america" so I guess this isn't that rare coin (fs-801) but I think it has some doubling. Note this 1968-D DDR: Note the closed devices, the open areas will be reduced. On Machine Doubling, the devices are reduced smaller than even a normal device sizes. Just not seeing that on your coin. The devices are normal sized and enlarged by die wear and the Machine Doubling reduced the areas you are looking at. Report this Post to the Staff
