This seems to be different than just circulation flattening. Along with the lamination? or die crack? a folded over fin? And it is happening on both sides. Just need help. I know there are a couple extra pics. But I have more if you need to see more. :)

There is a very good chance that this coin was trapped in the back or a dryer's drum. Take a look at Dryer Coins and compare.

Yes, has the look of a classic Dryer Coin. I've come across a few over the years.

The devices were altered on this coin. Not a plus for the coin. (If the coin is wider than another cent, then I'm feeling it was squeezed between two pieces of leather in a vise?)
