Looks more like a stain than a die crack.Make sure to flatten those staples.

Looks like clear glue (Elmer's) on the obverse side of the coin.

Either that or there is s foreign substance on the OBV. Give it a short soak in 100% acetone and see if it comes off.

to the CCF and soak it in water, if it's Elmers's acetone won't take it off.

Always removed coins from 2x2s before photographing.. I agree, looks like glue.
