ok I know if it is that its not much I'm trying to learn what everything is but is it off center or what would it be called and is the ear supposed to look like that on my 1990 P dime

Incidentally, it looks very similar to the 1991-P dime I posted yesterday that ended up diagnosed as MAD (misaligned die) - notice it only seems to be off-center on one side. Not worth much of a premium unless details are missing.
