I am interested to know your opinion about this cent. How much $ would you value it at? What grade does he deserve?

From the pics...looks like a pointed bust. I don't think the grim has damaged the surfaces. With proper care I think she'll look beautiful!
Buy it for VF-30/35 money the way she is...I think she'll turn out to be EF-45
Nice one!

Im at AU-50 at the highest, and yes, the scarce pointed bust variety, and according to PCGS coinfacts, an AU retail of $175.00.

I'll say EF-45, possibly AU-50, spotting detracts.

XF-45 for me.
APMEX is selling XF Indian cent for $115 (overvalued). They might even give you a low XF. A PCGS XF-45 Indian cent sold for $85 in an auction in May 2021.
I don't like the rim. I want sharp rims if I'm paying $70-$80 for coin. The black spots make it unattractive. Personally, if I'm paying $50-$70 for an Indian Head cent I prefer an attractive sharp strike later date in a higher grade rather than this one. If you're in love with the coin then it's a different story.

XF-45 IMO, not a fan of the eye appeal on this one. Still nice to see so much detail left though.
