I was wondering which this would be called. A double rim, a fin, or something else. Thanks guys. :)

A fin would be raised higher than the rim. Looks like counting machine damage on that area of the rim.

Note the edge on the last set of images are showing a wider reed area?

CoopHome: What is a fin? extra metal that rises on the outside edge of the rim on the coin. most of the rim, coin wrappers flatten this when the coins are rolled. So they often are flattened towards the rim.

Ok thanks coop. I see what you mean. I has just heard that term "fin" a week or so back. So didn't have much info on what it was. Thanks for the pics. ...always an extra help. ;)
