Overall, broadstruck coins with an indent or partial brockage are pretty common, but this one is a better date, higher grade, and has stronger eye appeal than most I've seen so I picked it up.
I'd call this one a broadstruck (Struck out of collar with the devices shown in the strike) with indent (Struck over a previous struck coin). (Note the UNITED is mirrored)
Thanks folks! It's a nifty-looking piece. And Coop, you are wrong to call this an indent. That would be struck through a blank or unstruck planchet. This is a partial brockage, which I clearly stated in the title, the text, and the image header.
