These discussions were pulled from This Topic. Figured I'd be easier to have a new topic anyways. -GO----------------------------------------------------- Maybe Podoprigora could start PIF 3?

Quote: Maybe Podoprigora could start PIF 3? That would be confusing...unless I can qualify to play in that one. One of these days I'll win level 1.

I demand more contests The reason I suggested it is that there are a lot of people that have won all three, it's not only me.

Well...if we're thinking of starting level 3, and if we follow the same 'rules' as before, to be eligible for Level 3, you would have to be a winner of both Levels 1 & 2. b]supposing[/b] daviscfad did start Level 3, he/she wouldn't be winning anything, just giving something away, so I figure that he/she would still be eligible to enter a little way down the track. Level 2 was started by t360, but he/she has never actually won a round in it, but would still be eligible in my eyes. I hope GO reads & understands this, but maybe we should get his approval before we start another level because it's potentially giving him another ongoing contest to keep track of. Can't have our mods getting stressed out can we? We do need to keep level 2 moving along though, so by all means start level 2 round 24 after you receive your gift.

Can't have our mods getting stressed out can we? I hear all and see all As long as the contests are a continual process like they have been for over a year I think any additions would be great. I don't mind keeping up with the info. I should have done it a long time ago. As far as ideas....I think a level 3 would be confusing if the same types of rules apply. It would be nice to start a New type of Level 1 that involves the winner starting the next contest. What about these..... Quote: Pay it Forward Snowball
First person sends 1 coin Second person sends 2 coins I feel pity for the person that sends 50 coins but they got 49 Quote: 50 States
First winner has to live in Alabama Second live in Alaska Last winner is from Wyoming Quote: Darksiders Unite
Same type of PIF contest but only non-US members can participate Would be very fun to keep track of the mileage on this as well

Quote: Would be kinda nice to have a New type of ongoing contest with a different twist The part that would have been confusing to me was not 3 PIF's, but having someone who didn't participate in the first 2 participate in the 3rd. But after seeing the other thread talking about this, that wouldn't be a big deal...the starter doesn't get a prize anyway. Unless they come back around as a winner later (if qualified).

In response: "PiF Snowball" - it would not only be costly to send 50 coins but also.. the chances of 50 coins arriving safely overseas are much smaller than those of let's say 10 pieces. "50 states" + "Darksiders Unite" - would need to be held both, so that nobody is excluded. Of course, Daviscfad would be eligible for the contest he starts, but might not want to win round 2 or 3 since that would mean basically getting his coins (or at least some of them) back

"Pass Your Collection" - Just like PIF but instead of sending a coin, you send every coin you own.

"Send the bullion" - you receive and pass on an approximate amount of silver (in coins).

With PIF, both levels 1 & 2, all coins sent to you are yours to keep, whether there's just 1 or 21. You then send whatever coins you wish to the next winner. If you choose to send on the coins you just received, well I guess you simply didn't really like/want/need them. Any winners in PIF Level 1 & 2 who have been passing on coins they received because they thought that was part of the 'rules' have obviously misunderstood how it is meant to work. I've got an idea for a contest very similar to Geocaching that does have a 'twist', but I'm not sure if others would go for it. I'll put a bit more thought into it before I decide to post it here. I'm not terribly innovative, so feel a little reluctant to propose something & have it under scrutiny.
