Ok got a problem! I was looking at a 1951 P Wheat cent which I thought could be a DD0-001 at Copper Coins Website trying to identify markers. It looks like the script is slightly clockwised doubled but the pics on copper coins dont show that. Coin is worn from circulation and is very brassy. Wexler and Variety Vista dont show it either. So I am throwing caution to the wind and asking for help. Regards!
This one is a normal coin. What you are seeing on the devices is when it is reaching the LDS/VLDS die states. (Very-Late-Die State) Note on the DDO, the devices are thicker at the tops of the devices. https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=mds Note 'WE? See how much thicker the devices are showing the spread. So it is a later die state of the LDS die state normal die. Description: A very nice spread shows on the motto with very minor doubling on the first three letters of LIBERTY and the eyelid. The Eye could also show hub doubling on this die. So it is not from that die.
