I found this a while ago. While looking at my wheat cents and organizing them I just had to put it under the scope it being a 1955 ( habit for these ) anyways I noticed that Lincolns head looked like veins were about to pop out. I don't know how I missed this when I first looked at it over a year ago.

Common? Rare? Any value? Let me know what you think.

Those are nice die cracks on that one.
I've come across a few of that variety as well.

Very nice example and in great condition! There were several RIDB's for this year/mm and found one that may be a later stage of yours but not sure. Along with the pic is the link that you can check out the other listings on COC. LINK http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-ce...k-1909-1958/

This coin was struck a few strikes before this later die example posted by -makecents- after the die continued to crack even more making it a RIDB. (Retained-Interior-Die-Break) What does that mean? With the crack encircles the whole area, then it becomes a retained die break. Just a die event that reaches an extreme. Probably many more examples as the die continues to age. Probably not retired after many more of these examples were struck though.

You'll find a lot of them in the 50s. They ran the dies till they fell apart.
