I know the right rear leg of the third or middle kangaroo is not very prominent on most MoR coins. Usually very subtle but tilting the coin can show the leg if it's hard to see front on. Are there any records of coins without the leg or would it be more likely that it was a weak strike and the leg was not defined properly? I have a 2015 MoR coin and no matter which way I tilting it, I cannot see that leg. I've tried photographing it but can't get a clear picture. I will try to post the best that I could get. Anyone know about coins without a leg? Are they real or just poorly struck or worn coins?

This has been discussed previously on this forum, albeit a 2009 coin.

Yes 2015 MOR with "missing leg" exist. They are not "rare". I pulled over 100 of them from circulation back in 2015/16 in higher grades.

Thanks for the feedback. My coin is in poor condition but I will keep it as an example of the missing leg type. Thanks again for your help.

I came across about 5 of these 2015 3 LEG Roo while going through the $1 coin 'treasure hunt'. Here are 3 examples from the 'treasure hunt'.

I think I see why they may have removed the 4th leg...for adults only!
