On Coppercoins # 003. He points out die scratch outside col 12. On #005 die gouges in and around O of ONE. I can maybe see they didn't find it necessary to mention both. But this coin has both.

On this coin in bays 1,2,3 the floor doubling isn't as high in the bays. In bays 9,10,11 they are.
The floors in bays 1 - 5 look doubled?

. In the beginning I had probably 400+ words trying to describe my coin. So I tried to cut back.

My question is. Is this a different DDR than what's listed on the 2 sites?

Great find and nice photos. Which of the three sites didn't you check?
You mentioned CC, what about VV and Wexler?

VarietyVista didn't have any other DDRs except bay6.
Guess I cut to many words out.

Coppercoins has the best examples. That's close to mine.#003. #005

Nice find, Rob and great pics! cc's 005 looks spot on to me. Notice they took different pics, with different lighting, in order to show both the floor and the column doubling. I would be willing to bet, if you mess with the lighting, you'll see the doubling on the floor, in the same spots that they show it. As for the die gouges and scratches, they could be coincidental or one or the other may even be on a master die.

Thank you all for looking and comments.

At first I thought the same that CC's #005 was a match. With overlay the columns line up but bays 1,2,3 travel lower (red arrows). The white arrows points to what at first thought it was the floor in bay 2 but closer look it's just a stain.

With different angles of lighting that's how bays 9,10,11 show the floors better especially bays 10,11.
It's really crazy how many different angles I shoot.

What could affect the new/missing hub doubling? Die state. If the freshest die state shows more of the hub doubling, the polishing of the die could weaken the hub doubling. On this area, the sub devices are not as deep, so each polishing could weaken the hub doubling on the dies. So you could have the same hub doubling, but the die state polishing/fresher die state could make some hub doubling seen longer on the dies.

CoopHome: What could affect the new/missing hub doubling? die polishing can remove hub doubling on different die states.

Good point, coop. We see this all the time, with different varieties, throughout the different stages.

Yes good point coop.
I was just focused on how much further down the columns were and the floors looked double lower in the bays.
