Same on the Date. Contact marks on the affected devices. The circulation flattening doesn't make it a Variety coin. http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...7DDDO001.htm Note the listing of the DDO what is affected?
Quote: Description: Strong spread West on Y of LIBERTY.
Only hub doubling on this one is on the 'Y'. Also note the location of the mintmark. It it were a DDO-001, the mintmark would also have to match on this year/mint to be a DDO-001. Coin damage doesn't make it a die variety. Only hub doubling on the die, makes it a doubled die.
CoopHome: What makes a match for a Doubled die? all the hub doubling must match and on the pre-1990 coins, the mintmark location will also have to match in order to a certain die attribution.
