Hit a small-town coin show last weekend and got this one for $25. It's got a light scratch but overall should be worth a bit more than that with the nice details and all. The slip was labeled " DDO" but the dealer didn't know what the coin was. Always nice to find a DDO-001 mixed in with the general coin show congeries. 1941 Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDO-001, FS-101

Great price on a very solid coin. I like it! Also appears to be a fairly early die state too, just difficult to tell how early.

Nice wood grain look on great DDO.

Very nice pick up! I know many don't like them but am with CoinHI, I like the woody adder. Sometimes the woodgrain will make attribution tough but not a problem with this one.

Very nice find. At some coin shows they have books of 2X2 coins that they have in binders. I like to go through these to see what I can find as a normal coin, that is a Variety that they missed.

Thanks folks! So many minor doubled dies out there that it really is nice when you can get your hands on a good one. And yes, this is an early die state, at most stage B on VV and maybe even a little earlier than that one. Would have been amazing to see when it was fresh off the press.

I agree with you TROP. I took the quarters I put here in the last two days from a very small town in the meddle of one of the most forests of the East coast.
