Decided to put together a half dollar type set and need a higher grade Barber. I don't have much experience with Barbers, so what do you think of this one (sellers pics)?

Nice slightly circulated Barber Half . Might have been briefly cleaned a long time ago but don't sweat it , it is very market acceptable . Have to agree with AU-58 . If the price is right , grab it .

First thought AU58, then started leaning towards AU55. Seller seems to have messed with the image color - why?

I'd say AU-55, very attractive. The color is probably distorted by the green background.

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know if I get it. I have this one at AU-55 as well and think it may have had an old cleaning (market acceptable).

I think it will fit in nicely with the other halves I plan on putting in a Capital half dollar type holder.
