I believe I found an error on my coin on the rim part of the coin. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

As mentioned, images way too small to see anything. Also, don't hold your coins in your hands like you are. Lay them flat on a hard surface and photograph them from above.

We see a lot of questions on this coin; you might want to use the search box and op the left side of every page here on CCF, and you might find your answer therein.

Looks like it might be a partial collar error, some better close up pictures will be needed to be sure. Welcome to the forum!

It does look like maybe a partial collar error, but we need better photos. You will need to soak the coin in 100% pure acetone not standard nail polish remover asap.If it is an error, it is 2x2 worthy.

@she, first welcome to CCF. Second, taking good pics of the edge of a coin is hard, so don't stress about needing to work at improving them. Just post them to this thread and we should hopefully be able to figure out what you've got there. Thx.

Please do not hold your coins like that!

to the CCF!

If you want to collect coins, it would be wise to buy some cotton inspection gloves. Until then, only hold the coins by the edge, never touch the face.

It does look like a partial collar strike, but much larger images are needed. Take a look at this website for more on partial collar strikes. https://www.error-ref.com/?s=partial+collar

Nice catch!
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!
