I checked Vista on this 1969S one cent and it sure looks like a DDR-002, PR-1-V1. Note the FG is strange and apparent floating roof. My old eyes are not as good as they once were. Thanks
Machine Doubling is very common on the 1968-1972 cents. When you see the inside/outside edges of the coins affected, then it is not a doubled die, but Machine Doubling. This affects the contour of the devices, removing/flattening on that area. A doubled die coin comes from a doubled die. Machine Doubling is a machine issue, not a die issue. So you can have Machine Doubling on a doubled die coin, but Machine Doubling on a normal coin is never a doubled die:
