2000 P Dime Major Die Wear I Think.

Found this well worn dime and found what looks like doubling caused by major die wear on the reverse. This occurs on both sides of the torch, The olive branch and the oak branch. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I feel this is just circulation flattening, but could be DD as well.

The dime has extensive wear but the lines are showing a shelve pattern like in Machine Doubling however, it's on both sides of those elements like the torch. Machine Doubling should only occur on one side. A deteriorated die could push metal on both sides. The only question I have is can a bad die push that much metal that far.

Just wondering if the vertical line on the upper right side of the torch could be a double die. Most of what I see is most likely Die Deterioration but the this one spot looks different. Any thoughts ?

Note the location on the newer coins as they are in different locations than the older types of dies.
Take a view to see what the newer DDR's will look like. Then you will know were to look for them.
