2000 P Dime Major Die Wear I Think.

This occurs on both sides of the torch, The olive branch and the oak branch. Take a look and let me know what you think. Report this Post to the Staff

hewart Valued Member United States 157 Posts	Posted 11/11/2022 6:15 pm The dime has extensive wear but the lines are showing a shelve pattern like in Machine Doubling however, it's on both sides of those elements like the torch. Machine Doubling should only occur on one side. A deteriorated die could push metal on both sides. The only question I have is can a bad die push that much metal that far.
