Hello everyone. On a coin roll hunt, I pulled this black Kennedy half dollar. There appears to be no FG on the reverse and I'm not sure about the black. I tried soaking in acetone and it didn't seem to affect it. Hoping a expert will chime in.

Not a black beauty - that designation is usually reserved for nickels - also you can see the shiny finish on top of the devices. looks like environmental toning to me.

Need better pictures of the FG area.

Environmental toning/tarnishing/discoloration. Most likely rubbed well with gun oil. Post mint damage.
