I have been cashier all my life. I need some advice in liquidating my collection. I would like to know the possible value of each post. This paticular bill is uncirulated. Looking at the water image, do we have a different president or iconic BJ water image?

He is not a president but he was a statesman, newspaperman, inventor, signer of Declaration of Independence, printer, our first postmaster, scientist and diplomat.

The watermark is an iconic image of Benjamin Franklin.

He does not have a mustache. It looks like that because of his cheeks. Do look at the portrait on the bill or note, please.

It matches with the watermark.

There should be a security thread in the note and at the right bottom the digits of 100 should have colours changed when tilting the note.

There is also microprinting around the portrait. These features should be there to guarantee its genuineness.

Hope this helps?

Unfortunately, collectors have zero interest in watermarks unless they're either missing completely or on the wrong side of the note. Additionally, unlike the engraved portrait printed on the note, watermarks were never intended to be perfect every time. The corners of the note aren't sharp like typical uncirculated notes.

Here's an example of an inverted watermark also on the wrong side. Also note the security thread is on the wrong side. Almost all the $100 are the AB block of 1999, but I have seen other districts with this. This was accomplished by the sheet being fed upside down. I have also seen this on the $20, but they appear to be much scarcer than the $100.
