Paid $22 all up, can't say that's too bad at all. It's a little circulated but I just think that makes it all the more interesting. Will be giving a it bath and preventative verdi spot treatment on the obvious areas of concern.

Hardly at all the facial detail I'd associate with a proof. But I know little of these.

Well it could be a proof, that rim is large and square as one would expect, but other than that...

You got this for $22.00? seriously under valued for a proof coin of any year for a wheat back.

I don't know the die markers for these but it does like a proof to me. The rims are as expected and I can see the matte finish.

However, I don't like the disturbance (finning?) on the rim. I think it got bent-over during circulation. It may have seen some circulation or serious mistreatment. The hits on the coin are more consistent with circulation than decades of owners.

PR-53/55 (if in fact a proof)

Included the main marker for the year, the die scratch from the shoulder to the RT of LIBERTY. The die scratch from the U of TRUST, and BU die scratch are both present, this is undoubtably a proof.

Hence the cherrypick!

Yup, it's circulated. No doubt about that, as stated above.

Grape, I'm not qualified to comment on your coin, but I'm very impressed by the quality of your outstanding photos. I aspire to achieve the quality of your pics. How do you do it?

Nice looking coin. I'll defer to your knowledge to be able to classify this as a proof strike.

Just my phone camera, a desk lamp and a magnifying lens. I just attach a Bausch and Lomb 6x Lens to the camera and bring the coin into focus. Pretty simple really.

Nice pick-up. I presume it's getting a TPG certification.

It will eventually end up in an ANACS holder since I'm so confident PCGS or NGC will actually give it a PR prefix
