Hello!!! I am now in love with world coins!

please help me identify this coin and whether its authentic. it may not be Chinese, but the truthful internet said this was a key hole coin from a dynasty in the 200 BC era--highly doubt it but I want to seek out the truthful nuggets from the community here...

Yup, definitely a Japanese 100 mon from the mid-1800s; I have 3 of these myself... The color could also give the more approximate age, the color on yours is more likely an earlier strike from the first half when these were struck, but more brassy might indicate a later issue.

Further info to attribute the mints and varieties of Tempo Tsuho. Specifically check for the mint marks on the edge
