I am now in love with world coins! please help me identify this coin and whether its authentic. it may not be Chinese, but the truthful internet said this was a key hole coin from a dynasty in the 200 BC era--highly doubt it but I want to seek out the truthful nuggets from the community here... mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2954 Posts	Posted 11/20/2022 4:04 pm Yup, definitely a Japanese 100 mon from the mid-1800s; I have 3 of these myself... The color could also give the more approximate age, the color on yours is more likely an earlier strike from the first half when these were struck, but more brassy might indicate a later issue.
