Color can occur different on the planchets, but on your coin, that is not the case. Looks like as already mentioned, it was found outside. This alters all coin to that same color you are seeing. We often call this a metal detector find.

The color can hub off the higher places on the coin first:

Exposing the natural color under the coating. Eventually this will wear off and the coin will remain dull looking in sheen:
