to the CCF!

It looks like a clash to me, and it may show multiple clashes. I also see a Ridge Ring running through IN GOD WE TRUST, so it's showing some Die Deterioration as well. Here's a die clash overlay that shows where you would expect to see clash marks.

For me is nice to see them. Is part of the minting and occur an all years. I like to see, but not collect. Nice, price is out of my range.

For me the prices are not a look for, just the coins. I ask Mike Diamond to give the opinion on this coin. Him it is the greatest live coins error specialist, be patient.

Two die events.
DDD = Ridge Ring is caused by die wear

Second damage to the die during a clash left clash marks.

The clash marks will be polished away and the fields will be reduced to remove the clash mark damage to the die. The devices will be weaker after the polishing, with the removal of the fields and the base of the devices. (Reduction to remove clashes are often contained in the affected areas. Thus some of the date could be more/less affected from this polishing process)

CoopHome: Can more than one die event happen on a die? yes. Some events are removed by polishing, even DDD can be polished away, but it weakens the devices when then happens.

What does Feeder Finger Damage look like on dimes? lines will be horizontal on this reverse design. when the die is polished too many times the weakness will weaken the design on the die. not a premium, but just a die event that can catch the eye.

Nice but common die clash. Check ebay's SOLD listings for any value.
