Entry once in awhile I'll have a question about some coin so I thought I'd join. This may be a dumb question, but I thought since it is a Connecticut quarter, well maybe anything's possible? Wondering if it got caught in something at the mint or maybe got beat up somewhere else?

I agree it is PMD. How it happened is anyone's guess, but it did not leave the mint like that. John1
