Very difficult to tell anything from those overexposed photos.

Is the line incuse or does it stand above the surface? Thats the first clue to determine.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Certainly need better images with less glare. BUT, if incuse it could be a scratch or a possible strike through. If raised could be a die crack or more likely a gouge on the die (seeing how it seems to pass over the devices.

Coin scratch. It is incuse. How can I tell? Note the edge of the painting on the first image? It is raised and the right side of the painting is showing reflection on the right side of the painting. Note on the devices, the left side of the devices are showing the reflection. So it is incuse. Note the right side of these letters,

Using two light sources defeats this theory.
Raised devices and light:
They are dark. Thus the light misses that side of these devices.

Opposite sides of the devices will show reflection on raised and incuse devices.

CoopHome: How is lighting different on incuse and raised devices? Raised devices will show on one side, incuse will show on an opposite side.
Using two light sources defeats this theory.
