I can't see anything that can't be attributed to damage or wear. Not sure of where you see DDO

Ill take a couple pictures with my camera when I get home, cuz they don't look right from microscopic photos. or I'm over thinking it haha. but what I see & then compare it to other examples. it looks the same. but I'm new at this, which is why I appreciate you all helping! :-)

I agree, a normal coin with some circulation hits / flattening.

Got it. I played with the settings on my microscope screen too. here are photos to show you "what I was seeing".- one is marked up- the other is for reference. The two lines are where I was seeing the separation of two dies. or where I thought I was seeing them. learning more everyday. :) cheers! Thanks everyone for bearing with us newbies lol

Your blue photos (why blue?) are circulation flattening. Overall, a normal looking coin just well circulated. No errors here.

Agreed - a normal circulated cent.

The tops of the 'U' is die wear. The direction is the clue on this. The 9 is showing a different direction. So I feel this is coin flattening. While this looks interesting, the other devices would be affected also on hub doubling. Just not seeing that on your coin.
