1982 D Marked Quarter. Help A Newbie In Coin Collecting, Please!

Ambyybearr New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 12/05/2022 7:59 pm Recently a friend of mine got me into checking and double checking all of my change and coins before spending any of them. Anyway, I found a 1982 D Marked Washington quarter that looks odd to me. Can anyone tell me what they see here? If there are errors, what would they be called? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/06/2022 10:18 am The 1982 quarters (All of the different mints) had an issue that year with a swollen master hub issue. The devices were very close to the rim area. So all were affected that year. So if that is what you are seeing, then there is no premium for this. That is the way they all looked that year. So there is no premium for this, if that is what you are seeing on your coin. In 1983 they re-created a new master hub and the devices were normal again on that design. Report this Post to the Staff
