Recent pick up, the condition is far better than what I thought. It's over 2000 years old, what an amazing piece of history. There is corrosion, but I don't mind that.

Hercules was required to complete ten labors. King Eurystheus decided Hercules' first task would be to bring him the skin of an invulnerable lion which terrorized the hills around Nemea, which is depicted on the reverse here.

I can't find much on Poblicius, but I am presuming he was a Senator in charge of the Rome Mint. Would love some extra information if anyone knows?

Probably C Poblicius (Publicius), apparently a moneyer rather than a senator. Looks like his family came to prominence during the Punic Wars.

Nice looking coin
Interesting in how the engraver seemed to put more detail into the reverse portrayal whereas the portrait was left quite abstract?...
