@trv, first welcome to CCF. Second, can you please post a close up picture of IGWT? Thx.

@trv, thanks for adding those closeup pics. I'm not 100% sure what you have there. The default answer is damage, but again I'm not positive since both of the letters I see to be about the right width (as opposed to be extra skinny if a well-placed hit divided the letter in half).

Please keep checking back to this thread and hopefully one of our other members will have a better idea of what is going on. Even if this end up being a die gouge or something from the mint, I suspect the coin itself will not have a huge premium over face value.

Looks like it might be a die chip similar to the BIE type of die chips on Lincoln cents. Better pictures would help, but even if it is, it would only have minimal value. Maybe a buck or two to the right person.

Or a flattened device? Not a doubled die. Why? Because all the other devices on that area would also be affected the same. Could be a die chip between those devices. But not a doubled 'I'.

No, we cannot tell you what's it worth. That not what we do here. But, you can search eby's SOLD listings for similar coin to get a rough idea as to vale. These generally don't bring much of a premium if any, so you're not going to be rich from it, sorry.
