I've been looking at this 1878 for a while and I can't pin down the reverse designation or specific VAM. Wish I had better photos - these are the pics from the auction listing. Can anyone help narrow this down based on these photos?

Thanks!

Need much, much sharper and in focus photos to nail the attribution on this one. Any die cracks you can see anywhere on the coin? Close up of the eye and LIBERTY will help as will the inner bottom wing feathers, by eagle's body. Any doubling on date? Can't tell but it looks like no clashing I can see, usually evidenced with a line protruding from the neck/jaw junction area.

There is very little going on with this one from what I can tell. Haven't had it out for a few weeks. My picture taking skills leave much to be desired but I'll try to better these. Thanks for checking it out.

Leaning toward possibility of it being VAM 6

Appreciate the review, @91o. I believe it is the A1d reverse as well. I really hope that it is one of the others with that reverse, but won't know until I find time to dig it out for a look under the scope. I don't remember any cracks through the date, but it may be an earlier die state.

Just put this Morgan under the stereoscope and VAM-6 is confirmed. Thanks to all who checked her out.
